Tidus breathed in deeply. His feet made a soft noise as he slowly cut through the forest, enjoying the fresh air. He found it kind of weird, though-- the forest wasn't half as thick the last time he came in here. Or had it been? He couldn't really remember. Though he could swear that it was less dense the last time..
Slowly he emerged from the forest. The Forest Church loomed ahead of him, magnificent and yet intimidating at the same time. He couldn't put a word to it-- the place just made him stand up straighter than usual. Walking up to the double wooden doors, he pushed them open, and they creaked loudly. Damn, Tidus thought. He had initially wanted to give Yuna a surprise, but with all that noise, she probably would have already heard him. As he expected, Yuna was standing there, already waiting for him.
Tidus grinned widely. It had been too long since he'd seen Yuna, except for over the journals. He had almost forgotten how breathless she made him, although he would never admit it openly.
"Hey, Yuna!"
