"Of course not. It was simply careless of me to remain unprepared." Seymour dissipated her worry, bowing gracefully both in greeting and in blessing. "Please, follow me."

The Maester led her up a winding staircase comprised of vines knotted together. The higher they climbed, the more the Church transformed into home that resembled Guadosalam back in Spira. It was truly a place where flora cared for man as much as man cared for flora.

"I have given you your own sleeping quarters, with your own bathroom access to water. I live in the level just up the stairs." He gestured around them, smiling softly. "I know it will take some getting used to, but you can ask your room to shift as you please, if the current layout does not suit you."

The 'bed' was a cradle of vines and flowers, her room filled with the sweet scent. The sheets were cotton, everything natural- even the delicate robes in her wardrobe were of natural fibres trimmed in fragile laces

"I still adhere to Spiran prayer times, so you may find me downstairs in the Church if I am not in here. You are of course," a polite touch to her hand, "always welcome to join me."
