Youji still didn't entirely trust Omi to be by himself. He was almost paranoid that his only remaining teammate would disappear again. Once the kid was asleep, Youji snuck out, like he'd been doing for the past month.
When all else failed, you fall back on your vices. He found the lights and laughter of the Alley comforting. It was a good place to do a bit of gambling, catch up on gossip, and do a little flirting.
