She actually made it a habit to get out and meet up with the boat now and then. It was fun to meet the people coming off the boat (and, really, she wanted to know the chances of another person getting tossed in the bay) and looking around with the usual confusion. Plus, it kept her away from the journals for a bit, which, while Aly didn't mind reading them almost obsessively, it also meant she got to meet people.
Which, in her books, was just as important as keeping track of the information given to her through the magically bonded journals. When the boat pulled up, she waited at the docks, a broad smile on her face, waving, never letting these newcomers suspect she was anything more than a cheerful person.
"Welcome to Rivelata!" She called cheerfully.
