He was... less than entirely pleased with the situation, though, he had to admit, had the child Neliel arrive, it would hardly have been much better, as she would have been in danger from Ulquiorra and Cirucci. Nevertheless, he was... unsure where her loyalties were now. Obviously, she was not as he had known her and she seemed more than anything to want to avert her future. While he certainly would have liked to spare her from the pain that her erstwhile comrades would inflict upon her on her return, he was not certain he could bring himself to give away information that would allow her to avoid that, not when it could further endanger his allies, particularly when the situation when he left was nothing short of, well.... dire.

Still, even as he strode through the streets of Rivelata, stuffed animals raining down on the top of his umbrella, in current conditions it was... rather difficult to take the entire situation completely seriously. But every time he closed his eyes and saw Kurosaki's neck break, heard Inoue's scream of horror ring in his ears, it seemed much less difficult, and, making his way through the comical rain of stuffed animals, he arrived at the beachfront, lips pressed tightly together, bow and arrows at his back, silver tubes hidden but at the ready to be drawn, and blue eyes watchful as he approached the green-haired Arrancar, stopping several paces away from her.

"Neliel-san."

While he refused to offer the other Arrancar such honorifics, given she had fought along Kurosaki in his time, the least he could do was offer her that much.

She was watching everyone who passed by, curious as to see who was coming. None of them stopped to look at her for long though- just a little, curious glance up at her green hair and mask, and that was it. But she kept herself busy with the soft items that fell from the sky. Curious, curious. She had seen several small humans carry it and had concluded it was something meant for them.

At the small spark of reiatsu, she knew the one she had been waiting for had arrived- and that was confirmed by his calling of her name. She looked, and straightened, shadowing the young human with her height. He was no shinigami, that much was obvious.

"You may relax," she said when she noticed his serious posture. "I have no intention to fight, unless you will attack first- though I highly doubt that, seeing your entry in the journals. Your shinigami friends may relax.

"Now, as you know my name, perhaps you tell me yours, to be on equal footing. I don't wish to speak to someone who has no name to be called by after all."

"Ishida Uryu, Quincy."

Her posture and her expression, even her reiatsu-- at least, what he could sense of it-- said she spoke the truth, and, in truth, Ishida trusted her more than he trusted any other Arrancar... which was, of course, not saying much at all, but it was something. Still, he hardly wanted to give the wrong impression to her; while not a Shinigami, he was an enemy to the Hollows, to the Espada, and to Aizen.

Whether he was her enemy, though... That's what he was here to determine.

"I didn't expect you would. If I did, I wouldn't have come. Forgive me if I'm a little tense, though; Cirucci recently kidnapped an innocent child in order to lure out one of my allies.

"Given Aizen could only create the Espada once he had the Hogyoku, I'm guessing, depending on how quickly he created you and how long you were in his service, you could only be from a month or two in our past. While I understand, if your allegiance still lies with Aizen, you don't want to give away any strategically critical information, could you tell me how much you know about us, so I don't waste time explaining information you already know?"

She listened carefully to his words. Quincy? According to stories, they all had died out long ago. Apparently those weren't true, if this human was speaking the truth. And how knew in this place? So many things that should not be real are. She would have asked him this, but his next words interrupted her train of thought.

"Oh dear. Not Cirucci again."

Neliel touched her hand to her forehead in exasperation. That Privaron was always causing so much trouble when she thought Aizen-sama was not looking. "I apologize for her actions. She can be quite troublesome when bored, especially if she seeks some attention. You need not worry about her- I will see to it she does not cause any unnecessary problems.

"As per your question... I hardly know much about you. Am I right in assuming you are one of these 'ryoka' Aizen-sama had mentioned? If you are then you know I will not divulge anything else, aside from the fact that you are one of the reasons why and how he had managed to obtain the orb."

"From my understanding, my comrade killed Aaroniero, the only one of Cirucci's generation to remain an Esapada, hence, her desire for revenge."

Ishida wasn't quite sure why he phrased it the way he did. Certainly, it did serve the purpose of warning the Arrancar that they were not to be trifled with, but at the same time, he was explaining Cirucci's motives when he didn't have to. He certainly didn't like Cirucci-- in fact, by all rights, he should have hated her for having threatened an innocent child. But Kairi's perspective earlier had made it harder to do that, harder for him to simply make this conflict black-and-white. Perhaps it was as his father claimed, that he was too soft.

Regardless, he had to focus on the matter at hand.

"Yes, I am.

"The events which follow are, most likely, from after the events that Ulquiorra described to you, surrounding your leaving Las Noches and the Espada.

"Though I don't expect you to know of the planning for any of this, Ulquiorra and Yammy were sent to scout the living world, and the ryoka. After believing he had obtained all the information he needed, he retreated.

"Under the cover of Grimmjow and his Fraccion's attack on the living world, one of the other ryoka was kidnapped, believing that we would all be slain in an instant if she were not to comply with the capture.

"Soul Society, predictably, forbade that we abandon our position in Karakura. We invaded Heuco Munda. In the deserts surrounding Las Noches, we encountered you and your Fraccion. You joined us, for a ways, until we reached Las Noches, and, after consideration, you and your Fraccion joined us. However, as the five of us had split up to find our comrade at that point, the three of you likewise split up, though each of you seemed to think the others had followed until it was otherwise pointed out. Pesche followed me. Dondochakka followed Abarai-san, who is also here. By your reiatsu signatures, I would say that you followed Kurosaki. We engaged the Privaron Espada, and the Espada. Kurosaki battled Grimmjow and Nnoitra consecutively, from what I've heard, without rest. It was during this second battle that your reiatsu state heightened to the level it is at now, then heightened again, as if you had released. From what I could tell, you were probably battling Nnoitra. However, after a short time in the second heightened state, your reiatsu returned to its previous state, that of your child form.

"Nnoitra was disposed of, in any case. You and your Fraccion were left with our reinforcements when we went to retrieve our comrade from Ulquiorra, after Aizen, Ichimaru, Tosen, and the top three Espada departed for Karakura town.

"I expect this corroborates with what Ulquiorra has told you. Do you have any questions?"

"That is quite enough, thank you, though you need not to say too much. It would be a discourtesy to learn so much from someone seemingly an enemy when I had barely even said a word."

She paused for a moment to reach up with a hand and inspect what had landed on one of her horns. One of the little objects surrounding them. An interesting thing, really.

"That has been quite a lot, Ishida Uryuu, thank you. But I suppose Ulquiorra may well fill me in with any more information if I so do wish.

As for the trouble... Death is natural, and we cannot avoid it when it is our time to come. I am angry that Aaroniero had been killed, but if he were to go, it would have been best in a battle. Cirucci was wrong in taking revenge for him, let alone involve someone who had little to no knowledge of this. Rest assured I will not allow this to happen again.

While we are not in Hueco Mundo, or even in our world, we have a truce to keep. I am sure you do not want a war on your hands in Rivelata."

The Quincy quirked an eyebrow at this. As the studious individual he was, he never liked giving a less than complete explanation, and for him, even the one he had provided, despite how long-winded it was, was just a fragment of the whole bloody tale.

Still. There were more pressing matters to discuss.

"A truce? While nominally, I would agree, particularly as neither of us have anything to gain by involving the innocents here in our war, Neliel-san. But I cannot and do not speak for my Shinigami allies here, and, in light of Cirucci's recent actions, making such a proposal to them would be inadvisable.

"That said, while I will agree not to harm you or Cirucci as long as you bring no harm to others through your actions, I can and will make no such promises in regards to Ulquiorra Schiffer. If he and I should cross paths, I will do everything in my power to destroy him."

On this last point his expression and posture were completely unwavering, his eyes hard, his tone cold. There was rage there, unspeakable rage, cold as the darkest, deepest night of winter, tightly controlled, carefully confined, but ready to be loosed at a moment's notice. A personal vendetta. Perhaps not the most admirable of things, but then, Ishida had never claimed to be perfect.

She shook her head at this. Were all males- Arrancar, human and shinigami- doomed to have such one-track minds and such proud demeanors? They all spoke of one thing, fighting. If not how strong they were or how large their weapons were, then about their conquests on the battlefield. She has had quite enough of this talk.

Crossing her arms over her chest and straightening up even more, she matched the Quincy's stare. No, she would not back down from this.

"Then by all means, you may speak to your comrades about this meeting. And I will speak to my own once I find them. I will not allow this place to be a field for personal vendettas or petty battles. And I will not involve anyone innocent. These small humans-" she gestured to one of them clinging to her mother, "- should not see what we already have seen.

Also, touch Ulquiorra Schiffer and I will throw you into the ocean."

They were done here, that much was obvious. She threw at him the little animal she had previously gotten off her mask. "Perhaps this will teach you to calm. After all, they seem to have been made for the purpose of personal enjoyment."

She plucked another one out of the air for herself as she turned to leave.

Well.

If nothing else, she was perhaps the most admirable Arrancar he had ever met. Again, not saying a terribly large amount, but he did like her better than certain Shinigami already. Perhaps Kairi was right. Perhaps there was hope.

"Duly noted."

His tone was dry as he answered, his expression slipping back a little into it's normal, if not terribly relaxed, then at least less tense state at her little tirade.

"The inns are best until you find somewhere more permanent to live. Neither of the others seem to care to secure normal housing, but I could be wrong. In the meantime, given your demeanor, I'd expect you shouldn't have a hard time finding someone to get along with."

As he caught the stuffed toy with he free hand, he examined it. No buttons. Not that many did have them-- perhaps just about a dozen in every hundred that fell-- but still. Interesting. Perhaps he'd give it to Kairi when he returned home.

Before turning away to return home, he took once last glance at the retreating form of the Trecera.

If it meant defeating Ulquiorra Schiffer, being thrown into the ocean was of little consequence. He could swim.
