There were a stack of books from Yuki's most recent borrowing spree at the library, doing her usual tactic of starting at the last number she remembered and ignoring the librarian as she usually did. They were of varying sizes, but all of the same type. It would probably take her a few days. Her wide eyes surveyed the citizens, occasionally noting the so-called 'Offworlders' as they walked by.
Her brain dutifully took notes, watched the body movements, and the flow of speech as the din of the crowd swelled and changed with each passing moment.
