It had been a good day for the former sniper. The weather took a turn for the better after the sudden flood that caused heavy damage in Rivelata. Things were still gloomy around the place. People lost friends, got hurt or lost valuables. Neil had been one of the lucky ones because he had been spared the pain of loosing his loved ones (even if Tieria did get a bad beating). Their house, though the first floor had been damaged, was not beyond hope. Materials could easily be replaced.... like his favorite couch.

Today, Neil and Haro- rather, Haro had to accompany Neil in order to keep Tieria sane- were in charge of going to the market to buy groceries. Tieria, on the other hand, remained home to continue cleaning the mess the water left behind.

Overall, things were brighter for him. His relationship with Tieria had deepened, specially after that unique, passionate night they shared. After that event, the former meister found himself daydreaming of the silky hair, the scent of lavender mingled with his own and the sensation of the pale, soft skin under his fingertips.

Yes, Neil was having a good day.

Haro rolled after Neil, keeping up diligently with the man's pace as he made his way through the marketplace. When things got crowded, Neil decided it was best to carry the robot on the crook of his arm. Haro wasn't useless at all, he kept Neil updated with the supplies Tieria had specifically required them to return with; however, the Irishman couldn't help temptation when he saw some extra goods at a decent price.

Finally, evening took over the skies and the sun set behind the tall buildings, making its way slowly over the ocean's horizon. Neil took out his journal to write Tieria a note. Perhaps they should invite Grell ad Nozomu over for dinner sometime- after all, he did find a good deal in the market.

Neil looked down at his journal, a smirk plastered on his face. Maybe he'll make a sweet entry specifically for Tieria. That should get the other's nerve, right? Knowing the purple-haired meister, he would reprimand him for publicly displaying affection... or something like that. His recorded entry stopped abruptly when the next page presented itself with a familiar picture.

He froze. Neil's eyes had followed the words as they wrote themselves in the page. His eyes widened, his breath caught in his throat. "He can't be..."
Neil shut his journal and turn to sprint in direction of the Inn he had left Yoite in. There was no time to lose, no time to waste. He knew that every single heartbeat took Yoite a step closer to death. He had to be on time.
