WHO: Yu Kanda (bootsbearer ) and Daisya Barry (sh_hereisgone )
WHAT: Kanda has been acting weird, and Daisya has run out of patience.
WHERE: Kanda's room in the Exorcists' home.
WHEN: The middle of the night, after their reunion with Tiedoll.
Daisya sat awake in his room for a long time, leaning back against the wall and staring at the moonlight as it slowly crept across his floor.
"Can you?" he'd challenged. Could Kanda get up and just... leave? Apparently so. Daisya closed his eyes and dug his fingers into the carpet. How could this have happened? How could things have gone so wrong? Before he'd arrived in Rivelata, he'd been thinking about how he would never see his best friend again... now they had a second chance, and Kanda was having none of it.
He'd followed them, though, after they left the beach... Tiedoll and Kanda. He'd listened, and he'd started to figure things out. For all people told Daisya that he was stupid, he was very sharp when it suited him... and right then, it did. Kanda had made a point to tell Tiedoll that the General was not from his time... which meant he was expecting to go back someday, to a world that had no room for Daisya.
It seemed simple, put that way.
Daisya pushed himself off of the floor and walked out of his room. He didn't knock before he went into Kanda's room, but he did close the door behind him.
"We need to talk," he said in a low voice. "Now."
