Scales had left his journal in his pocket after his lengthy entry, not really wanting to deal with wahtever the rest of the sphere had to say. basically, the sphere hadn't had anything good to stay about anything, really. Mostly crying and whining. Not to say he hadn't had his share of that, but come on, enough was enough. he was probably just coming back again. or maybe he was gone? Drake was an asshole anyway, to be honest, Scales felt not even the slightest wink of sadness at his possible passing. Maybe they'd get a captain that didn't fucking suck now.

He liked Rivelata, even if he got a number of odd looks a few entirely nasty ones. It didn't bother him, and he stayed out of the more densely-populated places anyway. Now, lounging on the beach sounded much nicer. Maybe he could suck in some of the warmth for later.

Yeah, Gazzy thought the whole 'sense-of-gravity-being-completely-off' thing was weird? Try doing it blind. At least Gazzy could see where he was reeling off to - every time they did it, Iggy felt his stomach jump into the vicinity of his throat with the moment of panic that came from frantically beating his wings and having no idea where he was.

The brush of wing-tips and the sound of Gazzy's voice gave Iggy a decent enough reference point to reorient himself in the direction he was pretty sure was 'up'. At least gravity was playing nice again now that they were far enough away from the tree...

"Unicorns?" he echoed, a few beats of his wings getting him a little closer - close enough to hear the reassuring sound of air through Gazzy's feathered wings. "You mean those weird flesh-eating ones, or whatever Max said they were? Creepy. Think we should go do something?"

Sure the creature had tried to eat her once or twice when she wasn't being careful, but after a mental conversation with the creature Pure found herself riding on the dark sands of the new city, curious about how she got where she was and why the place was the way it appeared. "Ride!" She squealed, as the eater-corn's hooves pounded across Rivelata's beach sand, head slightly lowered as it raced towards what seemed to be no end in sight. Though sounds of voices made her stoke it's neck and mentally stop it--it didn't listen to her sometimes, and it's mind seemed most stable.

Wings caught her attention, and a boy that looked so familiar....way too familiar...She couldn't help but call out to them. From atop the eater-corn's back. Nice. "HEY!!! HEY YOU!!" The eater-corn seemed calm about this...at least...for the moment it was paying attention to a scuttling crab and wondering if it should eat it or not.

Yum Seafood.

"Looks like two people over there now!" Gazzy called back. "So yeah, I think they gotta not know any better if they're messing with those things. C'mon!" The smaller boy flapped his wings harder and started heading toward the beach again, making sure to catch Iggy's wingtips on purpose this time.

However, as he drew closer, his better-than-average sight finally picked up on just what the two beings looked like.

"Just a bit more at this angle and we should - HEY! HEY IGGY, IT'S- THERE'S A LIZARD GUY AND- AND- IGGY I THINK IT'S..." Gazzy couldn't hold his excitement in. He started going even faster as he called out.

"ANGEL!"

Iggy's face broke into a grateful smile at the brush, and he followed the touch and the sound as Gazzy moved. He trailed his smaller flock-mate, adjusting carefully to keep at the same position relative to the sound of Gazzy's voice, and then...

Nearly fell out of the air at Gazzy's exclamation. Angel? That was impossible. Iggy had seen it, had seen her die in Max's memories. And yet...

What did people say about this place? That people could show up, even after dying. That people could come, and never remember anything about being here before. Could that be? Could Angel have come back?

He flapped again, hard, trying to catch up to Gazzy - and in his excitement, he'd forgotten all about the other part of Gazzy's comment. The part about the lizard guy.

"Gazzy!" he called out, his voice laced with laughter. "Gazzy, wait up!"
