WHO: Joshua, Neku, and Uzuki
WHAT: Uzuki has... interesting timing when walking in on people
WHERE: Neku and Joshua's house
WHEN: Day 288 (?)

The pen rapped against the table, as Neku finished the final plans for the Tin Pin parlor he'd discussed setting up with Joshua. He'd ask Pi-Face if it could be an extension of Junkhouse tomorrow, and if that failed, maybe he could work with Mr. H and have it be a joint coffee house/tin pin thing. Working with Mr. H would be pretty awesome - and Neku definitely wanted him to do the designs for the signs and stuff, anyway.

"Neku~" Joshua had entered the room, resting his arms on the boy's head. It was conveniently placed that way. "Busy at work, I see." The Composer, naturally, was being almost entirely unhelpful except when he felt like actually doing something. Which wasn't often.

Neku frowned the minute he felt the weight of Joshua's arms on his head, and jerked sideways to get out from under the composer. "Don't do that, you're heavy," Neku snapped, turning around to face Joshua. "Did you get the business license from the council?"

"How rude, Neku. I am not heavy," Joshua said, pretending to be offended. He didn't really trust the boy's idea of heavy, anyway, especially when it came to other people. If he didn't see Neku eat he might not have believed he did. "And yes, I did." He waved it in front of his Conductor's face.

The teenage Conductor gave Joshua the reward of a small smile. "Great!" he said, mood considerably better after having seen the results of Joshua actually doing some work. "All we have to do now is find a building, then, and we could start setting up and getting things ready to open." Neku set his pen down, and turned around fully to face Joshua, having grown uncomfortable at the awkward angle. "So I guess we're done for the day."

A smile from Neku? Shock of shocks. Joshua pretty much ignored it however, putting the license down on the table with disinterest. "Yes, I suppose we are."

A few moments of awkward hung in the air, before Neku asked "so what do you want to do?"

"Can't say I have anything in mind," Joshua said innocently, "Do you?"

"No, not really..." If they were gonna play the "i dunno what do you want to do" game, Neku was going to go take Shiki up on her shopping offer, because just sitting around and staring at each other was boring.

Joshua giggled. "How boring, dear." His generic smug look was on his face.

"Its not like you have any better ideas," Neku retorted, but without the usual bitter edge to his voice.

"I might have plenty. I'm just not sure if you would approve of them or not." The teen waved his hand, still smirking.

That made Neku a little incredulous. "Like what."

"Hm, well..." Joshua tapped his chin innocently. "Where is Shiki at the moment?"

Neku shrugged. "I think she's still at work."

"And Mr. H is out as well. I suppose we're by ourselves, then..."

Wait. Suddenly this conversation was taking a weird direction. "... And?" Neku asked tentatively.

"And what, dear?" Joshua asked, still innocent but that smirk was probably more than a little disconcerting.

Neku paused, looking around the room nervously. "You're keeping your hands out of my pants," he ordered, frowning a little.

The Composer gave a fake gasp. "Neku, now why would I be thinking about something like that? Such a dirty mind you have..."

"Not like you haevn't tried before," Neku grumbled.

"I haven't the faintest idea what you're talking about," he said with a dismissive wave of his hand.

Well, fine. Two could play that game. Neku turned back to the paper spread before him, and started doodling, ignoring Joshua.

Joshua was not the type who enjoyed being ignored, so he leaned over Neku's shoulder and watched him draw.

By now, Neku knew that if he ignored Joshua long enough, he'd do something about it, so Neku continued to draw, focusing intently on capturing the window realistically

Joshua didn't like that Neku was able to guess his reactions at all now, but he couldn't be bothered to try to mix things up right now. When he got bored of watching the teen draw, he started being a little more distracting. He rest his arms on the boy's shoulders now, looking down at him.

And yet Neku continued to ignore him.

Frowning, the Composer stayed quiet for a moment more before deciding to take action. He moved himself very quickly so within moments was straddled across Neku's lap and blocking his view of the window. "Really, dear, that window can't be but so interesting," he sighed.

"No, but pissing you off is," Neku said with a smug smirk.

Joshua frowned, crossing his arms. "You must have a death wish if that's your form of amusement."

Neku ignored that comment, and wiggled. "You're squashing my legs."

"But I have such a comfortable seat~" he lilted, refusing to be moved.

Neku wiggled more, probably making Joshua sway back and forth in the process.

It was getting hard to Joshua to hide his amusement. He stayed put, only moving a little closer to the boy.

"seriously, are you just going to sit there, or are you going to do something before my legs fall asleep?"

"Well, if you insist." Joshua shrugged before kissing his Conductor. He had asked, after all.

It'd taken Neku a while to warm up to the idea, but by now, he was at least comfortable with this stage. He leaned into it, figuring that as long as no one was around, why not enjoy himself?

Joshua, naturally, wouldn't be himself he wasn't making the boy uncomfortable in some way. Mr. H was always talking about people expanding their worlds and all, but Joshua's approach involved much more pushing of other people's worlds. So he did his best to bother his Conductor by letting his hands wander a little-- not in the boy's pants (yet) but around the general area.

Uzuki didn't usually do favors for anyone unless she got something out of it. But Shiki had to work late and was apparently intending to take Nekkun and Joshua dinner. She had initially flat-out refused, but Sho had apparently decided to be his usual sadistic self and insisted she go. Hell if she knew why. Maybe he'd poisoned it. That might be funny.

Damn, there was their house. Hopefully they wouldn't be home and she could just leave it there. Grumbling, she knocked quietly at their door and waited.

Neku squawked when he felt hands on his butt, and shifted a little. "What are you doing?" he stammered, not hearing the knock on the door at all.

"Nothing~" Joshua said, ignoring the knock entirely.

Well, fine. Even though he was way outside his comfort zone, Neku figured he might as well do something, so... he snaked his own arms around to Joshua's back, and placed his own hands firmly on the composer's narrow butt.

The Composer smirked. Good, pushing comfort zones already. He tugged a little at the teen's shirt, kissing him again.

Joshua's fingers were cold against his sides, and neku flinched a little at the tickle, but if that was the direction things were heading... He started to unbutton Joshua's shirt

Uzuki waited a little longer, then smiled sweetly. Oh well. They weren't here, she didn't have to deal with Nekkun teasing her about being nice, and she could just leave the food inside for them and pretend it had been Karin-chan or something. The door wasn't locked, of course, so she opened it quietly and slipped inside...

Joshua didn't hear the door open, but he wouldn't have cared much in any case. He stayed relatively still in order to let Neku finish what he was doing. "Moving rather quickly, aren't you~?" he remarked simply.

"So?" Neku retorted, undoing the last button before crushing his mouth against Joshua's as his arms wrapped around the composer's bare waist.

Somehow neither boy had noticed her yet, and it was all Uzuki could do not to shriek with laughter and ruin the moment. She loved being proved right. Grinning - a little maliciously - she cleared her throat. "Am I interrupting something~?"

Neku probably looked like he'd been hit by a truck, from the way he gawked at uzuki. He didn't move Joshua off his lap or remove his arms from his waist - only sat there, completely frozen. "Uh...."

Oh this was just perfect. True, he wouldn't have minded carrying on a bit more, but when would something like this ever come up again? "Can't really say," he said cheerfully in reply to Uzuki, "What do you think, dear~?"

Poor Neku was a little catatonic. The blood had drained from his face completely. He only squeaked a little, his brain racing a mile a minute trying to figure out how he was going to get out of this one.

She giggled - well, cackled, really - at the sight of Neku's face. Priceless. "I'm so sorry, Composer-sama, I had no idea you were busy. Should I just leave you two to your business~?"

"Oh, it's quite alright." Joshua giggled. "Though that might be best. I think Neku might die-- again-- from shock if you stay for too much longer..."

That managed to break Neku out of his shock. "OH MY GOD, WHAT THE HELL, UZUKI! KNOCK FIRST!" he finally yelled, hastily buttoning up Joshua's shirt - incorrectly, but he didn't notice. He also struggled to stand up, but Joshua was preventing that.

Little late to try and hide it now, she thought, and giggled again. "I did knock, Nekkun. Clearly, you were... busy and didn't notice~" She folded her arms and smirked.

Joshua ignored Neku's outburst and attempt to stand, rebuttoning his shirt correctly. "Yes, I'm pretty sure she did, Neku~"

Neku glared at Joshua. "Then why didn't you SAY anything, Jerkface?" he hissed.

"I didn't think she would actually come in."

A sharp whine escaped from Neku's throat as he shoved Joshua off of him, and stood, stomping up the stairs into his room.

Joshua managed to not fall totally ungracefully, on his feet in time to watch Neku go. Oh well. That went about as well as could have been imagined.

"Sorry, Nekkun~!" Uzuki called after him, not sounding sorry at all. She turned back to Joshua with a grin, setting the food down on the table. "Shiki sent it." she explained, then grinned. "I should probably get back to work so Sho doesn't get on my case. See ya, Composer-sama~" She didn't add that she had every intent of spreading the news to anyone and everyone.

Joshua waved goodbye to the pink-haired Reaper, watching her go before going to bother Neku some more.
