The feeling of the illusions powering her body slipped away from her fingertips like water.

She turned as white as a sheet of paper and collapsed to the ground, ignoring the screams of horror that came from the other passengers of the boat as they took in the grotesque sight of her stomach caving in.
She coughed up blood weakly.
Dimly she was aware of two men in uniform picking her up roughly and dumping her off the boat and onto the docks. Whispers of horror and looks of terror were thrown her way as the rest of the passengers made their way off the boat, avoiding her limp body.
She had been taken away from an important battle and thrown into a place where once again, no one really cared.
It was like she was Nagi all over again.
Her white owl cooed sadly and nuzzled her cheek. She could only smile weakly in response and with some difficulties, brought her hand up to her chest, where she struggled to focus her power into her ring.
I want to live.
That was her dying will. She wanted to live.
