Sho was already getting to be very, very good friends with a bottle of vodka.
Four times now in his life. Four times someone he'd loved had abandoned him. First Father, who'd up and left when he'd been five; then mother, who'd never really left but who had given up trying to deal with him and who had withdrawn into herself (and then that weird feeling he got that every time she looked at him she saw his father); then Komui had up and vanished, leaving him to go dive into his projects and make terrible decisions.
And now Kariya.
Kariya, who'd convinced him to go back and try to get his heart. Kariya, his voice of reason and moderation, Kariya, who ok, really, honestly, yeah, he'd loved.
And of all people to fall in love with here, why that one? Sho hadn't cared becuase while he missed Komui he had Kariya and he'd started to actually buy into that shit that Hanekoma'd always been babbling about. "Open up your senses. Expand your horizons."
