[[OOC Note: Blind characters see this in their dreams on Monday night.]]
Appearing on the horizon, at first it might have looked like just another wisp of cloud. White and blue weren't unusual colors to see in the sky, but then another color blurred in around the others: brown, and next green. The blue got richer in color until it was clearly not a part of the sky and the white parted to make it easier to see the mysterious haze.
It was about half the size in area of a full moon, a misshapen circular blot against the sky, coming in from the north - out towards the bay and The Ridges. It seemed to exude its own radiance, an ethereal light almost like a star burning into existence rather than collapsing out of it. This was evidenced by the fact that even at night, to the right of where the moon set, the multicolored object could be seen glittering amidst the stars.
Was it a trick of tired eyes? Many natives were more than willing to simply ignore the thing - far stranger things had happened in Rivelata, hadn't they?
But looking directly at the haze produced an effect not unlike looking right into the light of the sun - yet the light didn't seem so bright at first glance. Seemingly pulled forward by the head, your eyes drawn to understanding the anomaly, instead you were hit with a sense of vertigo. The brown, green, white, and blue swirled all around your vision like a column of misty spray directed at your face. Blinking even once after staring so long at the thing initiated a surreal experience unlike any to be found in your memories. The colors brighter, the sound clearer, but were the 'memories' even your own? Hard to say...
Awakening with a gasp of air and two blinks, you found yourself back where you were standing in Rivelata not a few moments ago, perhaps down to one knee, perhaps lying on your back, but still the mysterious object hung in the sky, so surely the experience was not simply a dream?
That was left for you to decide.
[[Note: Yes of course characters not receiving their visions during Week 1 can still participate in this log, they must simply react differently to the more expanded text - that is, when they look at the haze, they do not look too long/too hard and the light is not very intense.]]
