After everything that had been happening lately, Cloud was in need of a drink. Or two. Or seventeen. And this time he would not be drinking tea, oh no, it was time for some good, hard, alcohol. But he didn't quite feel like sitting in a bar by himself, so he had asked Jade to come with him. He rather liked that man's company -- and the blond also tended to feel like an alcoholic when he drank by himself, anyway.
It worked out, either way.
And so it was; Cloud Strife was sitting in a booth in the corner of Bar Hades, already drinking his second glass of vodka as he waited for his friend to show up.
