Zelos was hopelessly lost. By the time he used the journal as his last resort, he had spent an entire week drifting around on his own, relying on gifts from village women he had managed to charm with the weakened power of his exsphere skills. It was a sad state of affairs for Zelos, who had once been the second most powerful man in his entire world. Living off of hand-outs? Running from strangers? This simply would not do.
Lamenting his dishevelled appearance, he sat on the sandy terrain, feeling slightly defeated. But one particular exchange of words in the journal allowed a small smile to form on his face: he was to meet with a lovely young woman by the name of Molly, and he certainly was looking forward to it. All he had to do was wait.
