Oishi snapped up straight at being pulled out of his thoughts so suddenly, although he recovered quickly, offering a smile to the tennis tensai. "Excellent. I found a few boards in the backyard. There might have been more, but I wanted to get out of there as soon as possible," he replied, figuring Fuji would understand Oishi's want to keep safe. Leading the other boy to where he had rested the boards near the front door, he continued speaking. "They should be enough for the front of the house, at least. We could probably put some furniture or mattresses in front of the other windows, just to be extra safe." Oishi never knew that being forced to sit through so many zombie movies would come in handy. "Hopefully, this won't keep up too long, ne?"

He began to move to pick up a board, but he kept his eyes on Fuji. He'd held off asking something for a while, mainly because this was Fuji, the member of Seigaku he considered to be the most complex and hidden. But being alone with him at the moment, Oishi couldn't help but to ask, mostly out of worry. "How've you been doing lately?" The question was worded vaguelu, but he was asking about the loss of Yuuta.
