Light-kun had told her she wasn't supposed to talk about him. Well, that was okay, because if she obeyed him, he'd love her. Misa was missing Rem and Ryuk, but they'd come eventually. Then Light-kun could go forward with his plans, or maybe without them he could. It was a shame her Death Note wasn't working, and her trade meant nothing here.
She wanted to be useful to Light-kun!
With a basket hefted on her shoulder and a fun outfit matching the decor of the city (Halloween was American - but it was still cool and Misa loved the new look) she wandered the market looking for groceries. It was pretty easy, and Misa missed how long she had to be away from Light-kun to do this, but it was a way she could practice viewing people's names.
Which had yet to appear. If she wasn't supposed to pretend to not be the Second Kira, Misa would've pouted and complained. Light-kun would figure this out, of course. He was so smart!
