WHO: Hisoka
justamagician, Sabriel
shewalksindeathWHAT: Hisoka is rather curious about the workings of Rivelata magic, and Sabriel is kind enough to provide information SO EXCITING
WHERE: The beach
WHEN: Day 188
Since he'd first arrived, Hisoka had been busy.
He'd kept that vague, knowing smile on his painted face through everything: through discovering the loss of his abilities, through learning about what apparently had taken them away, even through the hours and days of training that had followed. The smile had never faltered, and nor had the drive to be powerful faded.
And today was no exception. He'd taken a brief break to ask a question of the journal the guards had given to him, and occasional breaks thereafter to read the replies that appeared in it, but other than that he'd been shaping the sand of the beach into a pitted battleground.
He could feel his Nen again, which was a start. Hisoka flexed an arm, narrow eyes resting on his hand, and began again to concentrate his energy into the clenched fist. He could feel it gathering -- slowly, sluggishly, not at all in the way he was used to. But it was coming.
Distracted as he was, his attention nearly entirely on his own activities, Hisoka seemed oblivious of anyone potentially near him. But of course he had not forgotten his invitation to Sabriel, and kept just enough awareness about him to sense any approaching presences.
