Alice had been a little preoccupied by the fact that she could be injured and so had been holed up for quite a while. It had been inconvenient as hell and had caused her to miss so much it wasn't funny. She was beginning to be able to deal with the quiet space where she was so used to seeing everything. It was strange, awkward, uncomfortable, and so many other kinds of awful that she didn't know how to deal sometimes. But, still.
Life moved on. Like always.
She walked into the tea shop with a smile and her usual grace. That at least hadn't left her. The brilliant young woman she saw sitting and waiting for her made her want to laugh and jump for joy. Seeing Bella here like this meant they had done things right. Bella was like them and really forever herself. She had feared Bella would be transformed by the change, especially with her temper upon arriving. But seeing her here among other people made it a apparent that things had worked out for the best.
"Bella!" She called out as she darted around the people and tables between them, skirts rustling as she went. "I missed you! You look just as pretty as I'd seen! Now how did it all happen? Tell me everything Bella!"
Bella looked up in slight alarm as Alice called out to her, before her face erupted into a smile. At least she didn't change much from being here. She was the same Alice she knew, wither she was from a different time period then she was or not. She giggled softly, shaking her head.
"How did me turning into a vampire happen? Or how I got a child? Or what?" She teased, leaning against the back of her chair, pointing to the one across the table. She wasn't sure where to start first, but she thought it was probably just the beginning.
"Well, okay, Edward's only way he would change me into one of you guys was if we got married. Like the old fashioned human way." Though she was happy now, she could still remember how uncertain she was about it back then. "And, we did. For our honeymoon, we went to Carlisle and Esme's little house on that island, and well..." She couldn't understand why she was so nervous about talking about that. "Well, one of those days was when I got pregnant. When we returned to Forks, was when I started getting increasingly bigger and only wanting blood. We had to hide it from my dad, because I wasn't anything close to having a nine month pregnancy." She paused, sighing softly.
