Tea was an essential part of his daily routine. He would take tea in the afternoon when he was finishing up the last remnants of the day's studies. Stranded in such a strange world, he longed for the routine if only to immerse himself in the familiarity.

Larsa hugged his journal self-consciously, looking around him to get his bearings. The food district had cafes and restaurants, but they seemed hardly likely to serve a decent cup of tea that required careful decanting.

As he walked onwards, he spotted a familiar face behind a window.
Master Zexion! Larsa hid his relieved smile. A teashop. If there was anyone who could judge a cup of tea it would be Zexion.

The boy entered the shop and approached him nervously.
"Would you mind if I sat with you, Master Zexion?"

Zexion started slightly at the familiar voice. "Oh? Ah, Master Solidor," he said. "No, I don't mind at all. And there's no need to call me 'master' all the time. Just Zexion will suffice."

This was a surprise, though not an unpleasant one. He hadn't expected to see the boy around. Still... there were things he had to report.

The boy took a seat opposite him. "We share a fondness for tea, I am glad." He smiled. "At least it is one constant certainty in this strange land. There is tea to be found when it is wanted."

He ordered a cup of berry tea, indulging in the sweet aroma. Larsa tried hard not to seem so relieved by their meeting again, but for all his efforts the smile was difficult to banish.

Zexion nodded. "I always take tea when I need to think. And... when I need to wake up. And when I'm not feeling well. And... ... come to think of it, there is no occasion which does not call for tea."

The smile on the boy's face confused him, slightly. Larsa was glad to see him? Zexion did not think of himself as particularly endearing.

Then again, the more allies he had...

(there was the slightest thing though that he could not shake - a ghost of a memory... of another tea shop, a very long time ago... but it was no matter at all.)

Yes, he was indeed glad for the company. And the fondness for tea, as well.
"I agree wholeheartedly." Larsa grinned.

His expression softened into solemnity as he surveyed his surroundings before leaning closer.
"It seems your invitation was answered by quite a few. Will it be alright, dealing with so many?"

Zexion sighed, and whispered back, "I'm not certain. I am unused to organizing such large groups. They all seem willing to help, which is better than what I've had to deal with in the past, but..."

He paused. "I have not yet had a chance to see the library's security, and Riku keeps inquiring about it. Could you tell me again what you know? Or... perhaps after this we should... happen to wander by."

At that moment, however, they were interrupted.
