Nagato was here. It had been several months alone with Haruhi. Sure, they'd made friends, Haruhi had formed a new Brigade-- repeatedly-- but nothing had ever been quite the same as it had back home. He was reluctant to admit that the club back home had been "good", but... it was. He knew he could rely on Nagato, Asahina's presence inevitably made Haruhi's escapades more bearable, and there were rare moments when he even missed just playing games with Koizumi-- though he certainly didn't miss the boy's long, winding, confusing explanations or total disregard for personal space.
Maybe it was a sign Haruhi's powers had returned enough to pull one of the Brigade Members here. Maybe it was just happenstance. But either way, it was a good thing. He was sure it was a little scary for Nagato to get cut off from the Integrated Data Entity-- or maybe it wasn't, maybe she wasn't able to be scared, given how calm she always was. But it would be difficult for her to adjust, he figured, at first. She'd learn fast, though-- just like she had with computers. So, as he and Haruhi reached the docks and spotted her, he waved and called out to the quiet alien girl.
"Oi! Nagato! Over here!"
