How miserable. Their little adventure, which Hiruma thought was going to be utterly and completely harmless except for a few wing cramps, had ended, as most things in Rivelata ended, in disaster. The Tricksters (what had they said their names were? Loki was one of them, for sure) had been guarding the island. The next thing the group knew, they'd woken up hours later on the sandy beach. All of them changed in some way. Hiruma found himself as a real demonic bat, more than 8 feet tall and almost completely unable to form any sounds remotely resembling words. Claire? Well, Claire was a lizard, complete with tail and forked tongue. Musashi was a girl, Draco was a human, Axel was fucked in the head.... so many people affected by his desire for information.
So of course, being the hypocrite he was, he blamed himself. He blamed himself up and down, cursing his curiosity in his head as he sat in the backyard staring at the sky. After all, he was much too bulky to be in the house. Luckily, Kotaro and Noah were out and about, as they usually were.
Hiruma had a small blackboard and a piece of chalk, in addition to his journal, sitting next to him. He had to communicate somehow.
