Matsuri had long ago memorized the routes through the city, all the streets and alleyways. She was quick to hurry out of the house after thrusting a pair of shoes on her feet. A quick yell that she was going out, and Matsuri was gone through the streets at a fast run. She stumbled at turns, nearly tripped over garbage cans, but she made it to the beach at record time.

She jumped off one of the cement ledges, landing in the same with a small sound that escaped her throat before she stood up straight and glanced back and forth up the sandy beach. Where was he? He was here -- she knew he was. She wasn't day dreaming, or imagining things. Yorito was here. Her Yorito. The Yortio that promised to disappear with her...

She finally spotted him, and broke out into a run. "Yorito!" She yelled. "Yo~ri~to!" She thrust an arm up into the air, waving enthusiastically with a bright smile spread across her face.

Yorito blinked his eyes open, moving to sit up on an elbow when he heard his name. He smiled when he saw Matsuri running to him. He raised his other arm to wave at her, shifting so he could stand up, brushing the sand from his hair and clothes. He missed seeing her this happy. It really warmed him to see her smile.

He just offered a smile in response to her yelling his name, laughing lightly. He almost felt the need to pull out his camera and snap a picture of her but he didn't move, content with just watching her come over.

"Matsuri!" he called back, almost wanting to run and hug her but he'd let her make the first move. Yea. There wasn't a definite answer on if she still felt the same way she did when they promised they'd disappear together. So, he only had to hope that she did.

Matsuri stumbled over a small hill in the sand as she continued her run -- she never stopped, not even to catch her breath. Without any warning whatsoever, Matsuri launched herself at Yorito, wrapping her arms firmly around the boys neck. "Yorito!" In seconds, she had him down on the sandy beach again, hugging him firmly in her arms.

She wasn't about to let him go anytime soon. She wouldn't let Yorito disappear without her. "Yorito..." She mumbled, evidently not about to get up anytime soon. In the distance, a little buzzing yellow and black striped creature of sorts was nearing in, apparently having been following Matsuri.

Yorito's eyes widened when he saw her launch at him. Oh no! He opened his arms nonetheless and let her tackle him down on the sand, laughing lightly. He started to blink when she didn't let go but soon just let it go, wrapping his own arms around her equally as tight.

He sighed softly, nuzzling his nose into her hair. "Matsuri.." he replied, hugging her tighter. She did still care. And that made him so relieved. His ears picked up on the buzzing once the little moment was over. Just what the..heck was it? A bee? He almost brought a hand up to swat at it before he caught a glimpse of ears.

...Were those bear ears he just saw?

Yorito blinked his eyes as he turned away, now starting to study the small bearbee. "Matsuri..just..what is this?" he asked, reaching a finger up to poke its belly gently, knowing that by now, he shouldn't be so amazed about weird looking things. He still had one arm planted firmly around Matsuri, keeping her in a hug.
