WHO: Shiho Matsuri [nightwoe] and The Doctor [wotwottimespot]
WHAT: The Church is under attack; Matsuri is suffering from it. The Doctor is going to go rescue her.
WHERE: The Church.
WHEN: Today, evening,
Matsuri was in for a surprise that evening, for sure. She had not expected that while sitting in the front pew of the Church, that a small swarm of snakes would come barreling in through the window, smashing the beautiful stained glass to pieces. She cried out in surprise, racing away from them. No matter where she went, though, the snakes followed. Despite her speed, they were still quicker than her petite legs.
She raced through the isles, trying to escape -- now and then she would grab the wood of the pew, and using her ability to decay things, she would rot a small portion of the wood so she could grab a handful and throw it in the face of the nearest snake to make it fall back.
At first it had worked. But then each time she did it, the snakes began to learn her strategy and worked their way around it. She screamed at them, yelling to leave her alone -- and then she heard the Doctors voice from the journal. He was coming; she was supposed to stay put. To hide. Where was there to hide in a church?
Racing up the pews quickly, Matsuri let out a loud shriek when one of them got her in the back of the leg. It tore her black tights, and bit right through her flesh, sending her tumbling to the ground. With an easy roll, she was underneath the pews as the snakes continued to soar high above the rafters.
Venomous -- they very well could be. The bite; she could feel it stinging and pulsing. It wasn't healing like it should have been, at this rate. She took a deep breath, keeping her eyes out for any snakes coming her way.
