WHERE: The casino, which is nearer the beach than the rest of the market/shops
WHEN: Friday night! 6 PM! And a little earlier.
All of the necessary preparations had been made. In fact, so many preparations had been necessary, Hiruma was almost (almost) in the hole. He had pretty much broke even on the whole event. Hopefully, the casino would bring in many many more funds.
The casino itself was fairly plan on the outside, decorated with the name in lights as well as the logo. The inside, however, was spectacular in both scope and scale.
Artfully decorated, though still very utilitarian, the thing was very, very Hiruma. The whole outfit was themed with bats and football and football bats, and the logo was on just about everything. There were lights and fancy chandeliers, and had a fancy juxtaposition of vintage and modern decor.
The slot machines were fairly crude, but worked well and looked nice. The tables were scattered around in a circle around the round bar. The whole set up was very cocentric, with the bar in the middle, tables for sitting and eating in the middle, tables for card games and roulette and the like outside of that, and the slot machines in the most outward ring. Part of the bar was devoted entirely to the sweets that Grell would be bringing, as well as some other finger foods.
All in all, it wasn't perfect (nothing ever was, Hiruma would say), but damn if it wasn't really fucking close.
