Sena hadn't felt this happy in a very long time. After being here for five months, finally, finally, his best friend was with him. It would make all the crappy part of Rivelata a lot more bearable. Grinning, he zipped down the streets, cutting through the crowds, moving around people and objects at the speed of light.

It wasn't long before the docks came into view. Coming to sliding stop near Mamori, he scanned the crowds for the monkey-like receiver. It didn't take long for him to spot his best friend- his new enhanced hearing and sense of smell helped a lot with this.

"MONTA!" He shouted.

Riku wasn't sure if he was glad that there finally was another face that he knew. But he could sense that Monta's arrival would make things a lot better. Friends could always help in enlightening one's mood. Well, even though he wasn't that acquainted with Deimon's receiver, they were still considered friends, right?

It didn't take long before they were at the docks. He looked around towards the direction where Sena called out to just to see the familiar monkey boy.

"Hey." He said while giving a small nod of acknowledgment.

Monta was bored. Monta was definitely bored. It had been an interesting city at first, when everything was new and there was cobblestone because who uses cobblestone, but he'd been sitting around on the docks for far too long, and it wasn't so interesting anymore.

He sat on a stone ledge, legs kicking idly as he tossed a rock he'd picked up somewhere from hand to hand. But that was certainly no way to keep amused, and so he was more than pleased to hear a familiar voice shout his name.

He looked up with an automatic grin, already hopping down off of his perch.

"Sena!!" Sure, he'd just seen the guy the other day, but Sena's obvious pleasure was contagious. A few bow-legged, leaping sort of strides carried him towards the group, and he turned his grin and greeting on Riku and Mamori as well. Immediately followed, of course, by, "You guys took forever!"

Sena's grin widened as Monta came closer. Five months. Or something close to it. That was how long he had been without his friend. His best friend. Sure, Hiruma, Mamori and Riku had been with him but it wasn't the same. Hiruma wasn't really a friend, a senpai and captain of his football team more like it. Mamori and Riku acted too much like older, patronising siblings.

Nodame had been another best friend- but she was gone. Left without ever saying anything. It hurt, but what could he do? But now that Monta was here.

"Forever?" Sena questioned with a miffed air. "We got here as fast as we could!"

It wasn't as nearly as long as it took for YOU to get here though, Sena added mentally. Things would be better, even if it was just slightly.

Riku couldn't help but smile at the happy reunion the two best friends had. He couldn't even find it in himself to disturb them in any way. But they had to move away from the docks sooner or later- he was sure that the stench would be getting to Sena, too. Who could ignore the over-whelming smell of seafood (okay, fine, maybe he liked the smell of fish) and sweat, not to mention other odors coming from the boats... then again, Sena could've been too over-joyed about his best-friend's arrival that he didn't take notice.

Either way... "So, you guys want to grab a snack or something?" Riku interrupted. They probably had something cooked in their house, but it wouldn't hurt to take Monta out on a tour of the city would it?
