As independent as she was, Haruhi couldn't help but be glad for some help. Any library in a world like Rivelata was bound to be massive, and having a robot to come help sort through the books would make things move a lot quicker - not to mention save the girl some papercuts and sore limbs.
She set off at a sprint to the park - it was where she'd last seen the robot - not at full speed, but at a decent clip, wanting to conserve energy for the search of the library. She hadn't known exactly where it was, and the guide hadn't been helpful at all, but the townspeople had known, and asking then wasn't a problem with Haruhi.
Wall-E wasn't anywhere in sight when she reached the park, but he was bound to be close by. So Haruhi leaned herself against a lamppost and waited, the fingers tapping excitedly on the journal and the other cupped around her mouth.
"WALL-E! It's Haruhi, are you there!?"
