WHAT: Hakkai's return from the jungle, and the aftermath.
WHERE: Paradise Blossoms.
WHEN: Late Day 127 (backlogged.)
Kurama was out in front of Paradise Blossoms, misting a few of the flowers with the bottle in his hand, idly pulling brown and dying leaves from others, his power flexing almost without his knowledge to heal up some of the lesser damage that his plants sustained in the heat and sunlight of this near-tropical climate.
His hands moved automatically, as his gaze swept the street frequently, his brow slightly furrowed and bottom lip drawn between his teeth. Hakkai had mentioned a favor for Max, and that he would be gone for most of the day, but...that thing had appeared over the jungle and then just as suddenly disappeared not too long ago, and Kurama couldn't help but wonder.
He was being ridiculous, he was fairly certain. Hakkai couldn't have been tangled up in that - he knew better than to go back into the jungle, didn't he? And even if he didn't, he would have said something, right? Of course.
Still, Kurama couldn't shake the persistent feeling that something was very wrong. So he waited, growing more and more worried by the minute, even as he told himself that it was nothing, that he was worried over nothing.
