WHEN: The night of the full moon, starting at sundown and ending an hour before sunrise. Between this log and this log.
Free, free, free from the confines of the house. It felt wonderful to stretch his newly formed wings, to be out in the cool, but humid, night air. Using his sonar, he skillfully flew in and out of the buildings, open windows, alleyways, skimming the street and then turning back up. But as free and fun as it was, he was hungry.
Starving really.
So the bat searched for anything to eat, catching bugs as he flew. They were hardly satisfying.
