Byakuya left his house for the first time in quite a few days and took a deep breath of the cool, night air. It felt nice. Very nice.
He was actually excited about the spar, he hadn't fought in so long and his muscles were sore for not only his...er, activities with a certain redheaded lieutenant (and now lover and boyfriend) but also from being cooped up in the house for so long. It was refreshing to be able to stretch his legs like this. Of course, Renji was not happy.
"Get rid of the drugs in your pack and we will talk about sparring later," he had told him. That certainly quieted the redhead and, of course, put him in a mood.
Not that he could do anything about it. It was an order from not just a loved one, but his Captain.
Nonetheless, it was not long before Byakuya entered the clearing of which he had not seen in quite sometime. There he waited for Kurogane.
