Okay, okay, girls like flowers, so just... pick somethin' nice!
And yet they all looked nice, and on top of that they all smelled nice... and he put his palm to his forehead in confusion.
What kind of flowers do girls like?!

"What kind of girl is your date hm? You can't just pick any flower for a girl. It has to be the right flower."

"Pretty and nice? That's a start. Is she kind? Is she bubbly and cheery? Or quiet and elegant?" He poked the man's nose playfully. "Help me out here sweetie, or I can't help you."
Reply
"Well, let's see," he mused. "She's not what I'd call bubbly but she's usually cheerful... oh, an' she beat the shit outta Kanda the other day!"

He scanned the shop, not wanting to burden the poor florist who was probably swept off his feet with work. And besides, Kuja knew these kinds of things.
"Does she have a favorite color? Or time of day?"

He smiled sheepishly and shook his head.
"I know she likes to take care of people... an' she's really protective. Her friends are the most important thing in the world to her."
Reply
"Hm...Know what color dress she's going to wear? I don't want the flowers you give her to clash because that would be horrible."
Reply
((OOC: I have no idea what she's wearing ;\ We're doing a shopping log but it isn't done x.x))

"Well then, if you don't know for sure," Kuja frowned in concentration, "then we'll go for a bouquet as a gift and not as a corsage to wear. How does that sound?"
"Let's see..." He wandered around the store and began to select a few stems of flowers. "Yellow tullips for sunshine in her smile. A sunflower too. A sprig of palm leaves for success. Some Nasturtium for victory. Orchids for maturity and calmness. Annnddd some lavender heather, because it seems you admire her."
He winked at Daisya, shifting the flowers into his arms. "Ask the florist to wrap these up nicely, and tell him thank you."
Kuja kissed his cheek. "I'll see you at the ball tonight."
Reply
"W-well, thanks...! I really appreciate it."
He smiled again and nodded. "I'll look forward to seein' you again, then..." And as instructed, he took the bouquet to the florist.
Reply
"Thanks and see you later!" He cheerily waved, before exiting the shop with his flowers safely cradled in his arms.

Quite the character, that one.
He turned to the other man. "Daisya-san, you said your name was? Would you like me to take those for you?"
Reply
Smiling, he decided to let Kuja-san handle things. If something came up, he'd be here to help.
