breaking through your heart and the reason of your mind-

WHO: Edmund and Susan Pevensie, and Caspian (the honorary Pevensie)
WHAT: The siblings are reunited! Get ready for some definite hugging and possible prank wars~
WHERE: The docks!
WHEN: Tonight.

She ran. Faster than she'd possibly ever run before.

Her oxfords made a sort of rhythmic slapping sound as they smacked against cobblestone, legs churning as fast as they could possibly go. She ignored the stitch in her side, the shortness of breath. Susan arrived at the docks breathless, spent and her leg muscles felt like they were on fire- but that was nothing. The huge smile that had been plastered upon her face as soon as she'd seen the entry was still there, her cheeks hurt from smiling.

Although Susan knew she should be worried- being here would simply expose Edmund to more dangers. She couldn't help but be selfish though- wasn't it a human condition and therefore forgiveable? She loved some of the people in Rivelata- but the Pevensies were one unit. They couldn't survive without each other.

"EDMUND!" she shrieked shrilly, voice conveying pure delight as she saw him standing by the edge of the docks. She didn't know how she did it but somehow she picked up speed, nearly flying at him and wrapping her arms around his scrawny body. He felt thin- but that was normal for Edmund. She'd just have to feed him, and well.

She'd told him that she loved him- and his reaction had been so typical of Edmund. No response, just staring at the ground. And then when she'd pressed the matter he'd changed the subject. But no- not anymore. Today she was going to get Edmund the 'Ice King' to admit that he loved her back.

"Hey, Ed?" her expression grew mischevious as it always did whenever she had a splendid idea. Usually her and Peter would team up against Edmun, or with Lucy against the boys. And they'd have a lovely time splashing each other, playing harmless tricks on one another...

"You can swim. You'll live." she laughed for a moment before giving him a gentle push off the docks, and into the crystal clear water below. It wasn't deep, probably shallow enough for him to stand in. The sea here reminded her of Narnia.

Besides- if he did have some problems, Susan could definitely save him. Archery and swimming were the two things she did best, after all. Well, besides worrying constantly and becoming the surrogate mother for her rowdy batch of siblings.
