WHAT: Claire comes over to help fix some broken Soul Reapers.
WHERE: The 6th Division home
WHEN: Day 105, evening.
Renji was exhausted. He'd gotten better at changing the bandages that covered his chest, but his work was still much messier than Byakuya's, and it made the wrappings uncomfortable (on top of the constant ache of the wound itself). After lugging around one unconscious body, several buckets of ice and finally braving the stairs to get the captain's yukata, though, he'd been ordered off walking too much, as it made him bleed.
He'd torn open some of the stitches and ruined a bit of the poor cauterizing while dragging Byakuya yesterday, Renji thought, and it still hadn't healed back up properly. Although both he and Byakuya had accelerated healing, Renji really appreciated Claire coming - at this point, neither man could really help the other, and both would just get worse.
With a sigh, Renji turned to Byakuya on the couch. The noble looked better, but he'd been so sick yesterday...
"Sit up, babe," he told his captain, holding out the yukata for Byakuya to get into. "Can't be naked when a girl walks in the house, can ya?"
