Inadequacy Issues [Closed; Incomplete]

WHAT: The ghost boy's starting to feel like hiding his identity's doing more harm than good at this point. Cue the worried bird girl.
WHERE: Roof of the Crimson Dragon Inn
WHEN: At night, after THIS entry.
Danny sighed.
How long had he been in this place? A month? Two? He couldn't really tell, the days sort of blurred together for him at this point. He couldn't really keep track of it. Then again, that wasn't the issue right now.
He wasn't sure if there even was an issue, really. As far as he could tell, practically half the people of Rivelata were anything but normal, and considering what he was, he should've been happy about that.
Instead, he was confused.
He was so used to people hating ghosts, that he was having a hard time believing that anyone other than his friends and family would like the fact that he was half-ghost. Heck, even though he knew his parents would probably still care about him, he couldn't tell them about it. He was just that paranoid about it.
But the people here... they weren't like that. They wouldn't think he was evil just because he was part ghost. Heck, one of his roommate was part bird, and the other was an inch high.
Not only that, but he knew that this place could definitely use his powers. Sure, they were still developing and everything, but they would definitely be useful here. After all, if no one would hate him for being half-ghost here, then what was the point of hiding his powers? There were no government agencies that wanted to experiment on him, no ghost hunters that wanted to dissect him, and definitely no ghosts that'd try to escape into the living world.
Still... why couldn't be bring himself to do it?
