EDIT: Thread is closed for the moment as I need some time before I can do more readings.
WHO: Renya Balquis (
piraterenya), her clients
WHAT: Renya reads the cards for some folks, and possibly makes some money.
WHERE: the Golden Dragon
WHEN: whatever day today is, which i have forgotten.
(
Care to hear your future, dearie )
She inquired after the fortune teller and found her way to the pirate's room, knocking quietly before entering, just as quietly.
"Tell me my fortune," she said, sitting herself down across from the girl and eyeing the cards with a small, impassive smile. She'd lived through many years of street "psychics" and frauds, as well as true magicians. Here, in Rivelata, this girl could easily be either one, and the green-haired witch was curious.

Luckily, C.C. had brought her journal with her, and at the pirate's request brought out the small coins and placed them on the table. It had been surprisingly difficult to get them, considering she only had an envelope of silver ladies to start with.
C.C. had ended up buying quite a lot of pizza ingredients to get an amount of change that she could carry.
"Ten coppers," she said, and smiled.

Still the same impassive smile, but C.C. was speechless. The readings seemed to fit, if she thought about it a certain way. Ask yourself if the help and benevolence was wanted... She shook her head and got to her feet.
"Thank you. Tell me... what sort of witch are you?"

She thanked the pirate again for the reading - she would commit each meaning to memory and muse upon them later, in the privacy of her room. Perhaps she would discuss them with her warlock. She had never much cared for ivory towers anyway.

She sat back down then and waited for her next customer.
