WHAT: Suzaku's arrived, and he's losing blood. Cue the healers.

His head was swimming.
He wasn't sure if it was the blood loss, the sudden revelations, the current situation that seemed to have presented itself, or the fact that he couldn't decide what was the truth and what was a lie, but his thoughts just couldn't form together anymore. The first thing that came to his mind after Lelouch responded to the journal was that he wanted to hate him. Really, he did.
But he couldn't. The slightest hope of Euphie being alive prevented him from doing so, and he couldn't do anything about it. Yet he couldn't help but worry about whether that was a lie or not as well. Whether Euphie being alive was a cruel hoax.
A part of him wanted to stop thinking about all this. It really did. Yet he couldn't let it go. He needed to know what was going on. He needed to know with certainty what was the truth and what was a lie.
He needed to know where he could place his trust, yet the thought of trusting anyone ever again scared him half to death. After all, if his supposed best friend could betray him in every sense of the word, what hope was there for anyone else?
