Aoshi made his way silently down the hall towards Souji's room. He'd left the younger swordsman there earlier in the day with strict orders to rest - which, judging by his activities in the journal, wasn't happening.
Instead, he was trying to convince Aoshi to go to this...ball.
Ridiculous, Aoshi thought coldly, as he knocked lightly on Souji's door before entering.
He didn't get on well with people, what made Souji think he'd enjoy the sort of situation where he would practically be expected to be sociable?
He wasn't going. Not without Souji, and the other wasn't going anywhere, so that was that.
