No More Slacking Off [Open]
WHO: Lavi and Bookman, others may join
WHAT: Bookman is coming to get the lazy apprentice and beat some sense into him
WHERE: Midnight Sun Tavern
WHEN: Day 64, after Lavi's first journal entry
He closed the book with a sigh and stared up at the sign over his head. The young man was sitting on the ground against the building, feet pulled towards his body so that no one tripped over him. He had positioned himself right outside the door, content to people-watch until his master showed up.
Master... Lavi shook his head, marveling to himself. Leave it to the old man to spoil all the fun he was having, talking to Miss Claire. Of course, Bookman did have a point, and Lavi really shouldn't have written anything down until he was sure it was secure, but he had been a little disoriented at the time. Oh well, hopefully he would remember and avoid making mistakes in the future.
It brightened his spirits to think of the rest of his friends - and indeed, most of the other Exorcists - here in this strange place as well. He couldn't wait to talk to Allen about everything that was going on. How did someone like Yuu function in this place, anyway? Oh, and Lenalee would probably be happy to see him, like always. He grinned, wondering just how soon he'd get to see everyone else again.
There weren't many people to watch right now; it was getting dark and Lavi saw the streetlights flickering to life. The place felt oddly nostalgic, but that was impossible. His good eye scanned the archetecture of the buildings around him, determining that it was indeed consistent with 17th-century style. So was the period-dress of the few natives he saw walking around.
As Lavi bent over once again to examine the journal, he didn't notice someone coming up towards him.
