Makoto-chan is here. I expect everyone to be kind to her. She might seem a little intimidating at first, but she's a really nice person. And she's an amazing cook!

So, it seems like things really have settled down between us and the natives. That's good to see. It wasn't good for the people who owned businesses, and I was afraid someone would vandalize Forest Church next. It's hard enough taking care of everything myself since Maester-san disappeared. I would not have been very happy if someone had done something unpleasant to it.
That reminds me, if anyone wants to volunteer to help out a little at the church, I'd appreciate the help. I can't pay you, obviously. I don't even get paid for working there. But a little extra elbow grease here and there always helps.
