[sarcasm]MY DAD IS A COOL COOL KID![/sarcasm]
*cough*
Oooh...Vrindina is a spiffy font (for it is with which I am typing...and it doesn't work in word...wha?) Annnyway, this has been an extremely long week. Short days filled with a LOT of biology, and a LOT of homework and not enough free time -_-; But that's besides the point.
Today's FRIDAY! And the Gods rejoiced. I just was not in the mood to go out today (sorry Heather.) Not that I was in a bad mood, I just wasn't in a "hanging out" kind of mood =/. I finished the day with a bio test, which I did well on. Well, better than the last one by 17 points, anyways. After all that, I cleaned up some stuff for Litmag. I got to drive around after school, since mom had errands to do, and I needed to buy books, etc. From school we were heading towards mom's P.O. Box and took a route through Irving, which was close to my old school: The Highlands. It was about 5:30 or something, and no one was there except a few lower school kids and some guys I knew but weren't really close to. Driving around the campus was quite nostalgic, really. I'm thinking of stopping by next next week when I get my license! (April 20, wewt.) After that, we headed to the Irving Half Price Books, and I could have stayed there forever, but I knew I had no money, so I restrained myself. I was actually trying to get a copy of my summer reading, Tortilla Flat, which is rather good, and has quotes like, "Both thy mothers were udderless cows." OOH HE GOT SERVED. No, but it has some deeper stuff, that quote was just really amusing. Then we headed got diverted by the craving for boba, and went to this little korean supermarket called KoMart. I got green tea, and was happyyyy. Mom wanted to rush back, because she wanted to see the funeral/burial of the Pope, which supposedly was airing at 7. At this point it was about 6:25; home was 30 min away. Plus the original stop to the Post Office = me rushing. But, thanks to my mad driving skillz (read here and below: speeding) we got home at 7:00 on the dot.
*abrupt transition*
I love driving. Can I just say that? (At some point on here I might be bitching about this very same topic.) Especially on manual. Except in traffic =/, that's not cool. But ohhh stickshift, how I love thee. Mom definitely got on my case for speeding, because I haven't even gotten my license yet...but hey, it's all in good fun...*shifty glances* When there are only a few cars around, and nice long open freeway, I feel like I'm in a video game. Changing gears is the kicker; Dad says I'm to violent to the stick XD. I don't really know if I should get a car with manual or automatic drive, but I'm leaning more towards the automatic--since I'll have to drive to school everyday + traffic + me being lazy and tired after school. I will probably get an SUV, since everyone and their dog has an SUV or a Truck here, and dad doesn't want them pwnzoring me with their size, especially in a wreck. The Escape looks like a nice SUV, but I haven't really priced anything. I need a suv with good mileage and isn't a gas guzzler. Hrrrm.
So now i've been relaxing and having some me time here at home. I played guitar ♥ ♥ ♥...found some programs to organize my music with easier (which has been/still could be an ongoing quest) organizing and file exchanging utilities para iPod. Yeah, I even had to mess with .CSV files and translator things. *feels like a nerd* I managed to find one called EphPod, so that made me happy as well.
*abrupt transition II* (I really should work on those transitions. *laughs*)
But....TRAVESTY OF THE DAY...(once my phone stops being moody and sends me the bloody picture...)
THIS:
No, no, that is not a poster. No my dear friend, THAT is an actual album. AND NOT JUST ANY ALBUM.
That album was a main usher, if not THE of beginning of the psychadelic era, otherwise known as Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club Band.
Yes. I found The Beatles' Sgt. Pepper cover STAPLED to the wall of A BATHROOM. Lord. Just thinking about it makes me infuriated. I had half a mind to tear it off the wall and run to the counter and yell at whoever put it up there. Or save it, from this demeaning state, by asking why that album sleeve was on the wall, and if I could buy it...but I foresaw them making a big deal out of it, and me punching someone. And mom getting angry. I'm going back there to save it....^%$@!@#$%. Ahem, but I don't really like instigating fights in public, for something so trivial (although not trivial to me), etc...so I will come with a peace treaty or something. Or I will just have to sadly sigh each time I go there. Or just bloody tell them to keep and not waste things like that! BLARGH!
Okay, now that's through, I might have had more to say, but I can't quite remember, so I'll sit here playing guitar and downloading the final episodes of Samurai Champloo. Or sleep. Hm.
But don't Let Me Down get me wrong, I'm feeling mellow and relaxed...what a nice break from everything. Ahhh. *smile* OH and on a happy note, THREE DAY WEEKEND!
A très long post indeed. ♥
Oh, and go listen to the song I'm listening to! ^^♥
We are staaaardust, we are goooollldennn...
