time to get on the ball

I am such a slacker, I said I would keep up with my journal and I haven’t. Anyhow I think I just might make it through my first year of college, how exciting. Anyhow I have this huge research paper due on may 1 and I have my politic journals due that day as well, but as you can see I am procrastinating to do either one, so instead of sitting here in my room being un productive I decided to trick my self into thinking I was doing something important and decided to update my journal. I am a huge procrastinator and I have no idea how I do it, but I always get shit done on time. Sure I go without sleep for a night but I get it done. The problem is me though, because I know I am a procrastinator and I don’t try to do anything about it. If I was truly into self improving I would definitely work on this flaw of mine. Anyhow did you know that the pledge of allegiance was written by a socialist? It’s funny though because it seems like we focus on this super patriotical duty to recite this pledge and we look down on those who don’t show patriotism to America, when in fact the pledge stands for exactly what American ideals frowned upon. Yet we have all these national symbols that are anything but democratic, just goes to show you how ill informed America is. Anyhow I really enjoy my politics class it’s called “movements for social justice” and it’s quite interesting. So I am screwed, I have 55 pages of work due on Thursday, and then I have all my finals scheduled for the same day on may 8. I’ll be taking finals from 8 in the morning to 9:30 at night, very excited about that (sarcasm). Anyhow in between all that I have to memorize this scene in this play for my theatre final, yes I am taking theatre but it’s just to get rid of my art requirement. The scene is like 30 minutes long, and I have 6 days to memorize my lines. But after May 8 I am free. But of course I will be taking summer school cause I want to get out of here as soon as possible, not because it’s bad or anything but simply because I would like to cut down on the seven years it’s going to take to get my law degree. So I’ve been thinking about being really productive during the summer, and I just might get a job and go to school. Wow, I am finally going to join the workforce, which if you know me, you know how much I have been avoiding that. But I must if I want to purchase a vehicle, and since I can’t convince anyone in my family to subsidize the cost I must do it on my own. I want to get a job that doesn’t require a lot of manual labor, maybe something clerical, or office stuff , you know what I mean, and I don’t want to work for minimum wage either, I need a starting salary of eight dollars at least. So if anyone knows of a job that meets these standards let me know. Oh and it must be near my home since I don’t have a car to get there. (Hopefully with all these impediments I won’t find a job that meets all these, since deep down inside I know I really don’t want to work.) Anyhow I think I have wasted enough time and now I really have to get to work.
Oh yeah bumble bee, how are you man thanks for the comment, but uh you left out your Live journal ID so I can’t respond to your comment.
Bui - you see I am writing in this thing
