So... can I just start by saying... Co-Ed gym class is an interesting experience...
Never in my three years of high school have I seen so many people get hit in the face with balls of such diversity (yes, yes, make all the jokes you want)! AND WITH SUCH POWER! Like seriously, when there's just one skinny girl left on one team during dodgeball, is it really necessary to whip all ten balls at her with such ferocity?
Also, there was this time when we were all sitting in our 'rows', these lines we go into to make taking attendance easier. And the guy right in front of me let out this silent but deadly fart. Everyone within a five meter radius of him was forced to clog their noses. And he just laughed hysterically. Yeah, real funny. 'Cause our gyms don't smell enough.
As for the rest of school, for the most part it's going well. I'm a little stressed out... Math is a bitch. For some reason I get all the answers on my homework right, but screw up anything that counts. Just got my first quiz back. Four out of ten. But Actors' Studio is pretty rockin'. We're doing this play about the Beatles called Twist and Shout. There are some awesome female roles in it. The other one is A Tale of Two Cities. Both my dad and Ms. Chalmers wanted me to do that one. They both think it's time for me to take on a more serious role (although my dad's much more obnoxious about it than Ms. Chalmers). I can't though, because it's in March, which is the same as The Music Man in Hudson. Plus, I know A Tale of Two Cities and none of the roles really inspire me, whereas Twist and Shout does.
The auditions for The Music Man are on Saturday. I think I have a good chance of snagging the role of Zaneeta. Angela's auditioning too which is awesome. My mother is happy, too. Carpooling makes her happy.
