Okay I suppose I ought to do the ubiquitous Dickens Fair plug

Nov 30, 2004 21:26

Okay, so the annual "Great Dickens Christmas Fair and Holiday Party" is happening at the Cow Palace in San Francisco every Saturday and Sunday starting last weekend (so sorry, I missed plugging opening weekend) and running through December 19th from 11AM- 7PM. I can be seen performing with my band, Rats in the Haggis, and Irish step dancing (and figure dancing, and set dancing and Scottish country dancing, and playing the pennywhistle) with Siamsa le Cheile every day, plus modeling in Dark Garden's corset shop window a couple of times. In case for some reason you want to know (and I can't imagine why), I'm playing an Irish girl named Roisin MacAllister.

Rats in the Haggis is onstage at Mad Sal's from 2:30-3:00
Siamsa is performing at Fezziwigs from 11:50-12:20 and from 3:40- 4:10

I will be in the Dark Garden window this coming Saturday (the 4th) from 5:00- 6:00 with the lovely Mrs. Jocelyn Hall (formerly Miss Jocelyn Pay), and the Sunday after next (the 12th) from 5:00- 6:00 with a threesome, uh, I mean trio of ladies yet to be determined.

*edit on 12/7/04*

Rats is also doing an informal set on the Silk Road stage every evening from 5:30 to 6:00

The Dark Garden window on Sunday the 12th will feature myself, Megan Tucker, and Janelle Perrine-Giachino as, surprise, surprise, lady musicians. Yay, Rats girls!
