well, its over
I have gone to what they called an interview. It was an evaluation really. Out of the 2 hours I spent there, I was with another human for about 10 minutes. I scored well on all my microsoft tests, well above average on all of them. They think that I have enough general accounting experience that they may be able to place me with that skill, but they couldn't evaluate me today because they didn't have room on the schedule. So I will go back another day. I am still quite pleased that they are seeing all these skills that are viable even though I have no formal training.
At this point I want either a really challenging, satisfying job,
OR
A boring tedious job that lets my creative mind roam free, maybe even leaving me room to sketch and design while I am waiting for the phone to ring.
I may have to settle for something that pays the bills.
