back at work

Is it a coincidence that now that I'm back at work my mouth hurts worse? I think not. My mouth doesn't hurt as long as I don't chew, talk, smile, laugh or CLENCH MY JAW which I am appearantly doing a great deal of today.

Co-worker S is on the warpath. My my DBF's responsibilities have shuffled around a bit and so have mine (and others that I work with)so that he has to talk to the folks in my office more and more frequently (we work at different companies in the same industry). Co-worker S has no patience with anyone including my DBF and for the last several months has repeatedly told me frequently to ask DBF WTF his problem is. Occaionally she just outright insults him, more or less directing the comments at me. Usually I ignore it. The past week has been worse than ever. She got called into the boss' office today and talked to at length about her generally crappy attitude and in specific about how she speaks of DBF when I'm around. She pulled another co-worker outside to question her about who and why someone tattled on her for being a bitch. The truth is, no one person did, boss can tell for herself that S has an attitude problem. Now for the last 45 minutes before she left for lunch S has been walking around banging file drawers, slamming doors and just generally being a passive aggressive bitch. All she did is trade one kind of unacceptable behaviour for another.

I swear if I had another job to walk into tomorrow I'd be leaving this job right now. Unfortunately it pays the bills, and with $2700 dental bill this week I can't exactly afford to go with out a paycheck for even a short while. Thank goodness she has tomorrow off so we can both cool off.
