A/N: My second Ryoda's fic, wiiiii!!! And yes, am a big fan of Avril Lavigne, so her song kinda inspiring me in everything. And I just couldn't help but writing a multichapter *sigh* well then, enjoy~
CHAPTER 1
CHAPTER 2
“Ryo-chan, eat some more. I promise you a good dinner tonight so don’t waste it” Ryo snorted and held the urge to give Jin one more smack in the head. He can’t, he just can’t. He had to behave well in front of Tatsuya. He didn’t want Tatsuya to see him as hot-tempered guy though he really wanted to make a certain baka disappeared from this world.
“You actually didn’t treat me a dinner if you notice” he glared and Jin looked at him with widen eyes.
“What’s the difference anyway? It’s Tat-chan’s cook after all. So it’s basically my treat ne” Jin said as he looked at Tatsuya, asking for her agreement in this and Tatsuya smiled in return.
“Hai” the smile, the smile that had haunted Ryo since one hour ago and Ryo blinked. But he got caught up as Tatsuya turned to look at him and gave him the same smile she flashed at Jin a moment ago. He turned away, clearly avoiding any contact with the girl.
“See, even Tat-chan agreed with me. So Ryo-chan, don’t make Tat-chan sad okay. And you’re so skinny, eat more~” Jin continued his babbling as he didn’t stop shoving the food into his mouth, clearly enjoyed the dinner more than anyone else at that table. And Ryo just couldn’t say anything to get back to Jin. He knew why. Tatsuya was here and he just had to bear with whatever things Jin said. It was annoying! Then, he heard a small laugh. Tatsuya’s laugh; it was like a song playing in his head, perfectly written and amazingly composed. He looked up and there she was, smiling and laughing all beautifully, sparkling like a star in the sky and Ryo knew; he Nishikido Ryo had falling in love with Ueda Tatsuya!

He was tossing back and forth on his bed. He couldn’t sleep; he couldn’t even close his eyes. Every time he did, he can only see Tatsuya. Tatsuya’s smile, Tatsuya’s laugh, Tatsuya this, Tatsuya that. It scared him. Who wouldn’t right? For God sake, he felt in love with his best friend for life’s girlfriend!
“ARGHHHHHHHHH!!” he screamed and clutched at his black hair. "Jin, you already killed me before I could kill you. “Stupid! Stupid! Stupid! Stupid Jin! Stupid me! What should I do now? Dammit!”
Come to think of it, Ryo wondered when did Jin get himself a hot girl like Tatsuya? As far as he remembered, Jin never said anything about having a girlfriend lately. They were best friend for life after all right? And Jin was the type of person that would showed off, especially if he had a girlfriend like Tatsuya. But he didn’t say anything about it at all. Or did he? But Ryo was certain that he didn’t remember anything about Jin having a girlfriend. Maybe I should ask Pi about it. Ryo immediately shook his head. Maybe Jin already had a girlfriend for quite some time now and he didn’t want to reveal it. They were Johnny’s after all. No one was allowed to talk about something personal like love to the public.
On second thought, they were best friends! Jin should had told them right? In fact, Jin should have introduced her to them sooner. Why now? Why all of sudden? But no, Jin didn’t even introduce her as a girlfriend to him. Tatsuya introduced herself and she knew who Ryo was. That made Ryo smiled widely. She knew me. At least, that’s a good start. And Ryo closed his eyes tightly. He thought he could deal with seeing Tatsuya in his dream tonight.

Jin poked his head into NEWS dressing for the nth times today. He scanned the whole room but he didn’t see the person he was looking for.
“Ano” he voiced out and everyone in that room turned to look at door. Koyama was the one who responded to it, not that Jin was surprise by it.
“Ah Akanishi-kun, still looking for Ryo-chan?” Jin nodded. “He left already with Shige. Why don’t you call him? You look like you have something important to tell him”
“I did. But he didn’t pick up. What’s wrong with him?” Jin looked as confused as ever. “Anyway, thanks. I’m off now” he waved his hands and walked away. He dropped by at KAT-TUN’s dressing room first, grabbed all his things and walked out of the jimusho. He pulled out his phone and dialed a very familiar number in it. He waited as the other person picked up the call.
“Ah Baby. Yes, I’m done for today” he took out the key, opened the door, before got in the car. “No, I couldn’t find him anywhere. So I’m going alone tonight” he paused. “Yeah, see you soon. Bye”

“Ne Ryo-kun, can I ask you something?” Shige asked as he carefully eyed Ryo from the corner of his eyes.
“Un”
“Is it okay that you didn’t go back home with Akanishi anymore?” Ryo turned to look at Shige and Shige squirmed.
“Why? Are you getting tired of sending me home?”
“You know it’s not like that” Shige sighed as he tried to focus on the road in front of him. “You know, Kei-chan told me that Akanishi has been looking for you for a week now”
“Let him be. It’s not like he has some urgent business with me anyway. He’s doing all that just to kill time”
“Are you avoiding him?” Ryo looked away.
“I’m not avoiding anyone”
“So you’re really avoiding him” Shige nodded his head a few times, eyes still fixed on the road. Ryo didn’t say anything. Shige can think what he wanted to think, he’s the smartest after all. He always can figure everything out.
Ryo leaned his back hopelessly on the couch in the living room and staring blankly at the ceiling on top of him. He was thinking about his earlier conversation with Shige. Yes, it had been a week since he last saw Jin. Shige was right, he was avoiding Jin. If possible, he didn’t want to meet Jin anymore. But he knew it was impossible. They both worked at the same place and they were best friends. He knew he couldn’t avoid the Jin for too long but at least for now; he didn’t want to see Jin, not when he just realized that he had falling in love with Jin’s girlfriend!
Ryo palmed his face helplessly. This won’t do him any good. Out of the girls he’d met, just why it had to be Ueda Tatsuya? He startled as his phone rang. ‘Butterfly’ song was playing and Ryo knew right away who the caller was. Sighing, he stood up and walked towards his room. The phone kept ringing but Ryo already disappeared in his bathroom.

“Still couldn’t get through him?” Tatsuya asked as she put the plate on the dining table. Jin nodded. He looked all gloomy.
“It’s been a week. Ryo-chan never acts like this with me” he said as he didn’t stop calling the other person. Tatsuya took a seat in front of Jin and handed him a bowl of rice. Jin took it, phone still in his hand.
“Maybe he got something to do?”
“Nahhh, it can’t be. Even he’s busy with his drama or with NEWS and Kanjani8, he won’t ditch me for no reason. But right now, he never shows up in KAT-TUN’s room anymore. Pi always come alone. And when I went to NEWS room, he wasn’t there. Though every time Pi came and told me that Ryo was in the room but when I went there, he wasn’t in that room. It’s like he can sense it then he disappeared before I got there. And he didn’t pick up my call anymore. I think he’s avoiding me. Mou Tat-chan, what should I do?” Jin whined.
“Well, he’s your best friend. You know him better” Jin nodded.
“Ah, let’s forget about it. I’ll just go and look for him tomorrow. So, how’s your progress?”
“Good, I guess. I’ve got a few offers already. I’m going to go through every offer before decided which one to take”
“Then, what about the dream you told me about?”
Tatsuya smiled. “That can wait. I need a base first before I can stand up on my own”
“Sou ka. Then don’t forget to give me an update okay. I’ll support you in everything”
“I know”
