Tidbits of Good

I came home from work (school) today feeling somewhat worn out although my class load was lighter than usual. It's difficult to be cheerful and relaxed when one always feels that there's a "gotcha" just around the corner. (Newly assigned supervisor doesn't understand my lesson plans. Note: I've been using the same format for about 3 years.)
Breathe deeply... 98 days.

Here are today's tidbits of good for which I am grateful:
My cousin, who has listened patiently to my stories about work (school) over dinner at least once a month, sent me a sweet card in the mail to cheer me up. It wasn't even email, it was snail mail! Better yet, it has a pretty bookmark attached to it (She knows I love to read).

Then, when I checked messages on the answering machine (yes, we still have one of those for our home phone), the same cousin told me that she received several positive comments on the pendant (necklace) and bracelet that I designed for her as a Christmas gift. (see photo of pendant below) It was so nice to hear and I know she felt good about getting the compliments, too.

I'm breathing deeply and looking forward to having time to read lots of wonderful books, write great blogs, stories, and articles, and design fabulous jewelry... in a little less than five months... 98 school days.

Breathe deeply...
