Almost There!
Wow! I made it!
One more school day and I will have several weeks to recover, refresh, relax, read, and WRITE! Oh... and make jewelry.
Of course the fun doesn't begin immediately.
- There are the annual doctor and dentist visits that were put off until summer months so I didn't have to take a sick day.
- The ISTE Conference is in Philadelphia this year and I am going! (June 26 - 29) Note: ISTE = International Society for Technology in Education. It's the best place for an Educational Technology Specialist (me!). I'm excited!
- Emptying and cleaning out my book bag/ briefcase. Who knows what is lurking in the bottom? Scary thought.
- Completing all of my end-of-the-school-year-in-preparation-for-September notes, forms, files, and lesson plans. Note: This is not the required paperwork that must be finished and turned in before I get my final paycheck. (Did I say final paycheck? Yes, I will not get another paycheck until Sept. 15th! Two months with absolutely NO income. That is, unless you buy some of my jewelry.)
- Clean off my desk in my studio/office.
- Purge my closet of all "school clothes" that I no longer wear. Replacing them will be a task for August.
- Clean out my refrigerator and pantry so I can eat healthy this summer. For once!
Oh wait. I have one more day. Gotta go to school on Monday.
