I did make the meatballs in "enhanced" tomato sauce. It took hours of work, but it's worth it to have 4 quarts of delicious (I sampled) meatballs and sauce ready.

By the time I finished cleaning up, it had already begun to snow. The flakes were large and fluffy and they stuck to everything. Since most of the trees and bushes still have leaves on them, many branches were weighed down by the wet snow. It looked to me like an inch or two fell before it started to rain. Everything turned to slush. I checked on the computer weather site to see how long the bad weather would last. According to the site, tomorrow is supposed to be sunny. I hope so.

So, what did I do today? I processed a load of laundry while I was making the meatballs. I took a nice long nap in the afternoon. After supper, Nadav helped me cut up the rest of the apples for applesauce. I have to transfer it to containers and put them into the refrigerator. I also restrung all the sun-catchers while I was watching an episode of NCIS-LA. Now, of course, I have to hang them up on the landing. That'll wait until tomorrow.

I'm happy that I've been doing things that have been nagging at me whether they are paperwork or cooking. When I can break down the task into small chores, it's much easier for me to tackle them.

Next week is the Pomegranate Convention and I will have a lot to do to prepare for the workshops. One of the classes I'm signed up for is how to make a tallit. I'm very excited about that, but also very nervous. The fabric I have is the blue and turquoise sarong that Judy R brought me back from Bali. It has some writing on it which I just noticed--maybe it's Balinese. Does that matter? Should I choose some other fabric? Decisions, decisions.

Now, at least, I know that I have to put away the applesauce before I go to bed.

Good night.
