Seriously though. I do. I'm in the study lounge, trying to write a paper on Estonia Citizenship law and languae tests post dissolution of the USSR (interesting right? Kind of....) and instead I'm farting around on the old LJ.
So basically life is good. Really good. So good that (as I've stressed before) I feel that something horrible may happen in the near future because it's just too good of a good streak to last. But we'll see.
Working at the Box Office of the NT is awesome. All I do is answer the phone and book tickets for people, and then get to see shows for free and fart around on the internet. The new booking season is starting soon, and we have a bunch of interesting productions coming up, although I can't say what they are yet, because they're top secret. I also get really cool people phone up too, like for instance today David Cronenberg's daughter called to book a ticket for the Samuel Beckett play Happy Days starring Fiona Shaw. After she gave me a billing address in Toronto AND her last name was Cronenberg, I just flat out asked her if she was related, and she said yeah, and I told her how I went to UofT for two years, and it was just good fun. I also told her how much I liked A History of Violence, and she said she'd pass the word on. Crazy right? Crazy.
School is going well although I have 4 papers to do in the next 3 weeks before Kate arrives, and that's going to be a little intense. There's the lovely Estonian Citizenship one I mentioned earlier, then one on the Marshall Plan and US involvement in European Integration, then 2 more that I still have to figure out what the F i'm going to write about. And I'm supposed to be making significant progress on my dissertation....eeeek!!!
I'm seeing Equus with Daniel Radcliffe and Richard Griffiths on Friday. Whoa for Nakie Harry Potter. Plus I'm seeing it again when Kate is here because she well had to see nakie Harry Potter. It's going to be NUTS (get it? Nuts? Cause he's naked? And CRazy?? cause he blinded a bunch of horse and now has to see a pyschologist??? Alright enough.)
I'm half way through Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenidies (spelling?) and it's AWESOME. Way to win an f-ing Pulitzer man, you rule.
By the way if anyone hasn't yet gone to youtube and typed in "Shoes" and watched that video then your life is meaningless. Honestly. I can't stop quoting it to save my life. Muffins too. and Text Message Breakup. And Love Letters. Liam Sullivan is a G D genius.
Alright, later BETCHES.
